Portal Preferences controls how the Admin Portal behaves for supervisors and office users in your company. Changes made here apply across the company. To override Admin Portal preferences for one supervisor instead of the whole company, go to Supervisors and use the
icon in that supervisor's Actions column.

Some advanced options may be hidden until Telephone Timesheets enables them for your company. If you need an option that is not visible in your account, contact support@telephonetimesheets.com.
Option Descriptions
General
Use 12-hour time format
When selected, the Admin Portal shows times in 12-hour format. If this is not selected, times are shown in 24-hour format.
Group notification banners
Groups notifications into a single banner instead of showing separate notification chips throughout the portal.
Highlight missing external IDs
Flags records that do not have external record IDs assigned so missing IDs are easier to spot.
Auto-expand advanced options
Automatically expands Advanced Options in supported edit dialogs so those settings are visible without an extra click.
Excel import formula protection
Adds a single quote before exported cell values that could be interpreted as Excel formulas. This helps protect exports from spreadsheet formula injection, but it can affect later imports into some spreadsheet tools.
Enable browser Click-to-Call
Adds call and text shortcuts to supported address books and contact areas in the Admin Portal so users can dial from the browser more easily.
Navigation
Enable health center for all users
Shows Health Center information and weekly health checkup reminders to all users. If this is not selected, only primary users will see the health score and receive health reminders.
Employees
Display name as Last, First
Formats employee display names as Last, First when names are edited in the portal.
Enable auto check in/out option
Exposes an employee-level setting that allows automatic check in and check out behavior to be enabled for individual employees.
Schedules
Allow overriding time-off conflicts with scheduled shifts
Allows time-off entries to be saved even when they conflict with scheduled shifts, with reassignment deferred until later. If this is not selected, schedule conflicts must be resolved before the time-off entry can be saved.
Time Entries
Show job / schedule qualifier
Shows colored qualifier tags in the Job / Schedule column of the Time Entries table to make scheduled and unscheduled states easier to identify.
Show action pop-up when clicking on job / schedule
Opens the job or schedule action pop-up when users click the Job / Schedule column. If this is not selected, the table filters immediately instead.
Highlight early check in
Flags time entries where an employee checks in earlier than expected. Enter the threshold in minutes, or leave the field blank to disable the highlight.
Highlight late check in
Flags time entries where an employee checks in later than expected. Enter the threshold in minutes, or leave the field blank to disable the highlight.
Highlight early check out
Flags time entries where an employee checks out earlier than expected. Enter the threshold in minutes, or leave the field blank to disable the highlight.
Highlight late check out
Flags time entries where an employee checks out later than expected. Enter the threshold in minutes, or leave the field blank to disable the highlight.
Highlight short shifts
Flags shifts that are shorter than the number of minutes you enter. Leave the field blank to disable the highlight.
Highlight long shifts
Flags shifts that are longer than the number of hours you enter. Decimal values are allowed. Leave the field blank to disable the highlight.
Highlight short breaks
Flags breaks that are shorter than the number of minutes you enter. Leave the field blank to disable the highlight.
Highlight long breaks
Flags breaks that are longer than the number of minutes you enter. Leave the field blank to disable the highlight.
Reports
Enable report run delay
Adds a delay field to Insight Reports so reports can be held for a number of days after the period closes. This is useful when payroll or time entry review needs extra time before reports are run.
Expose start/end time on daily reports
Adds an option on daily reports to filter time entries by Job Date or actual Start Time. If this is not selected, daily reports use job date filtering automatically.
Notifications (Internal)
Enable employee pre-shift notification option in notification profiles
Exposes a notification profile setting that allows employee pre-shift notifications to be configured.
Enable employee early checkin notification to supervisor in notification profiles
Exposes a notification profile setting that allows supervisors to be notified when an employee checks in early.
Enable employee checkin notification to supervisor in notification profiles
Exposes a notification profile setting that allows supervisors to be notified when employees check in.
Enable repeating notifications option in notification profiles
Exposes repeat-notification settings inside notification profile editing.
Enable client notifications options in notification profiles
Adds the client notification section to notification profiles.
Supervisor phone number limit
Controls how many supervisor phone numbers can be added to a notification profile.
Miscellaneous (Internal)
Enable shift grid view
Exposes the Shift Grid view option in the scheduling menu.
Enable AI chatbot link
Shows the chatbot link in the portal footer.
Enable QR codes without validation
Exposes the QR code column in the Jobs table without turning on QR code validation. Validation itself is managed in Admin > Settings > General Settings.
Enable advanced tours
Turns on advanced checkpoint tour behavior for jobs.
Enable sort prefix on jobs
Exposes sort prefix on job records and adds sorting choices in Job Schedule and Shift Grid views.
Enable advanced break reminders
Turns on advanced reminder notification settings for breaks.
Allow admins to create checkpoints on time entries
Allows admins to create new checkpoints directly on time entries.
Enable global Cognito signout
Performs a full Cognito signout when users log out of the portal. This is used for compliance-sensitive environments.
Enable table tags expansion
Shows individual tags in tables instead of a compressed summary icon.
Enable open shift offer feature
Allows admins to create open shift offers.
Enable flagging no job address as a GPS issue in time entries table
Marks missing job addresses as GPS issues in Time Entries so the Details source icon shows an alert state.
Enable setting address with map pin in job / site edit form
Adds an option in job and site editing to set the address using a map and pin.
Enable original live map view
Uses the original live map layout with job proximity markers instead of the newer map view with separate job and employee markers.
Open time entry details in map view instead of list view
Opens time entry details in map view by default instead of the information list view.
Enable batch schedule editing
Exposes options in schedule views that allow multiple schedule records to be edited together.
Enable pending schedule queue
Adds options in schedule editing that allow records to be marked as pending.
Enable multi-schedule option
Shows the multi-schedule option in the scheduler. The option may also appear automatically if an existing schedule already uses multi-schedule behavior.
Enable 'Schedule anytime of day' checkbox in the schedule edit form
Shows the Schedule anytime of day checkbox in schedule editing. The checkbox may also appear automatically if an existing schedule already uses anytime scheduling.
Enable simplified permissions
Simplifies user permissions by hiding separate Create and Delete choices when those permissions are already controlled by Modify.
Enable managing supervisor role
Allows the manager role to be assigned in supervisor editing and makes the related permissions template available.
Display GPS time information separate from distance
Shows GPS time information separately from GPS distance information instead of combining both issues under a single marker state.
Enable managing employee app prefs for individual employees
Exposes employee-level app preference management so individual employee settings can override company defaults.
Enable managing admin portal prefs for individual supervisors
Exposes supervisor-level portal preference management so individual supervisor settings can override company defaults.
Auto delete expired schedule
Automatically deletes expired schedules after the number of days you enter when the schedule has an end condition. Leave the field blank to disable automatic deletion.
Time entry fetch count
Overrides the number of records loaded in the Time Entries table. Higher values show more rows but can reduce performance.
No show counter lookback window
Sets how many days the system looks back when counting no show time entries. Leave the field blank to disable the lookback.
Highlight invalid images
Sets the allowed delay between when an image is generated and when it is submitted. Leave the field blank to disable the validation highlight.
