User Timecard

User Timecard

User Timecard lets an employee review their recent time entries from the employee web/app clock-in experience when the company allows employees to view their own timecard.

Employees open it from the employee menu by selecting the clock/timecard option. Some companies may hide this option if employee timecard access is not enabled.

Where To Find It

From the employee clock-in screen, open the menu and select timecard. Direct links that open the employee app may also take the employee straight to the timecard when the shortcut is configured for that purpose.

Choose The Time Range

The Timecard screen starts with two ways to choose what the employee wants to review:

  • By period: choose This pay period or Last pay period.
  • By days: enter the number of recent days to show, up to the allowed limit.

Select view to load the timecard. If the employee enters an invalid number of days, the app asks them to choose a valid value before it runs the report.

Read The Timecard

The report lists matching shifts with the newest entries first. Each row can show the job date, weekday, job description, start and end time, and total time worked for that entry.

Entries that need attention are highlighted. For example, an entry may show Open when a checkout is missing, or No Show when the schedule was missed.

If a shift is split across entries, the report can show an S marker and a note explaining that S means split shift.

Totals And Pay Information

The bottom of the report shows the total worked time for the selected range and the number of shifts when available.

If the company includes pay-rate information in the employee timecard response, the report can also show hourly rate and estimated gross pay. The timecard includes a reminder that this is not a pay statement and does not account for taxes, withholding, or other payroll adjustments.

No Entries Found

If there are no time entries in the selected range, the employee sees a no-shifts message instead of a list. They can go back, choose another range, and try again.

Navigation Buttons

  • back: returns from the report to the range selector.
  • done: exits the timecard and reloads the employee app so the employee returns to their normal starting screen.
