Onboarding Updates is where administrators review employee responses to information requests created by the onboarding system.
Open this page from the Onboarding banner when employees have submitted onboarding responses that need review. The banner appears in the Administrative Portal only when onboarding is enabled and pending responses exist.
The page lists employees who have pending onboarding responses. Each card shows the employee profile image, employee name, and most recent response date so you can decide which responses to review first.
Use the refresh icon to reload employee response data. Use the help icon to open the page explanation.
Use Sort By to organize the list by employee name or response date. When sorting by response date, use Order to choose whether the oldest or newest responses appear first.
The page help explains that onboarding requests are configured under Admin > Settings > Employee Onboarding. These requests can collect documents or other employee-provided information needed for compliance, payroll, company policy, or state requirements.
Select an employee card to open that employee's onboarding response log. The response log can show multiple request records for the employee.
Use the search field to filter responses. Use expand all and collapse all when you need to review several records quickly.
Each response record shows its description, approval status, last employee update date, employee instructions, employee notes when available, and admin notes when available.
Use the green edit icon to review and manage a response record. Use the red delete icon only when a response record should be removed. Use the audit icon to review the record history.
Use the chevron icon to expand a response and show more detail. Expanded records can show employee instructions, employee-submitted notes, and admin notes.
The edit form lets you review the request instructions, approval state, expiration date, employee notes when the request was skipped, admin notes, and any linked employee files.
Use Approval Status to mark the response as pending, approved, rejected, or expired. When the request requires expiration tracking, an approved response may also require a future expiration date.
Use Expiration Date when the employee should be prompted again after the current document or response expires. For example, a certification document can be approved now and set to expire when the current certificate expires.
Employee Notes are notes submitted by the employee and cannot be edited by the administrator. Admin Notes are for internal review comments that help administrators track the response.
Use Manage Employee Files when the response includes documents or images that need to be reviewed, opened, or managed with the employee's secure files.
When file management opens, review the attached files, then select Done to return to the response form.
When the red delete icon is selected, the page asks for confirmation before deleting the response record. Delete only records that should no longer be part of the employee's onboarding review history.
